ElektřinaTrend products: their advantages, manner of negotiation, price

ElektřinaTrend products are new products for households offered by our company from September this year. The electricity supply prices are specified according to the development of the price on the stock exchange during the respective period therefore the price always remains stable for 12 months and existing clients can negotiate new products whenever they consider it advantageous!

What are the advantages of the new ElektřinaTrend products available from 1. 9. 2009?

The main advantage of these products for clients is that the price of electricity is actually specified and, of course the certainty that the price will remain stable.

Justice and a fair price for clients because the price of these products when they are negotiated is always the actual development of the price of electricity for the next 12 months.
Certainty of stability because we always give the client a permanently fixed price for the first 12 months, i.e. the client can plan in advance and doesn’t have to worry about price deviations. The electricity contract is concluded for a specific period, i.e. 12 months. It is automatically prolonged for a further 12 months if the client does not apply to cancel it in advance before the end of its validity.

What price will I pay for electricity with ElektřinaTrend products if I negotiate a product? The prices of ElektřinaTrend products differ from month to month. Which price is valid for my place?

The price for electricity for the next 12 months depends on the month in which the client applied to conclude the electricity delivery contract. For example, if the client applied to conclude the contract in September, the price valid in September is then valid for the client for the next 12 months. Similarly, if the client applied to conclude the contract in October, the October price, when he applied to conclude the contract, is valid for the next 12 months.

The prices of delivered electricity can always be found on our Internet pages or through E.ON Client line 840 111 333, always within the respective month/cycle in which he applied to conclude the electricity delivery contract.

Why is it more favourable for me to conclude a delivery contract for a new ElektřinaTrend product now?

The price of electricity on the wholesale electricity market showed a decreasing trend last year.
Therefore the prices of electricity for clients of large electricity suppliers, such as our company from January next year, are expected to decrease.

What do I have to do if I want to negotiate a new ElektřinaTrend product?

The procedure is very simple. New products can be negotiated using the on-line form on our web pages www.eon.cz, or through E.ON Customer line 840 111 333.

In my valid contract I negotiated an original product which was an ElektřinaKlasik product

I negotiated for the delivery of electricity before 1. 9. 2009, i.e. an old ElektřinaKlasik product. Does the price of electricity change in any way from 1. 9. 2009?

No. If you do not transfer to a new ElektřinaTrend product, the existing price will remain the same for ElektřinaKlasik products. As up to now, new electricity prices for negotiated products will always be published for the next period.

I have a valid contract for an original ElektřinaKlasik product, i.e. the contract was concluded before 1. 9. 2009. Can I now conclude a contract for an ElektřinaTrend product?

Yes. The new products are not only for new clients, but of course, for existing clients as well. To negotiate a new product use our internet pages www.eon.cz, or E.ON Customer line 840 111 333.

Changing the product, terminating the delivery contract

If I negotiate an ElektřinaTrend product, can I select another product at any time? How much will it cost to make the change?

Yes. You can choose another product at any time and its corresponding distribution rate if you meet the conditions. If you change the product, the price of the product for you will be the one that was valid in the month when you selected the previous product.

For example, the price of your product is for September. You decide to change the product in January. The decisive price of your product is the price in September.

I don’t want to change the product, I only want to change the price of my product. If I negotiate the same product now, the price would be different …

No. Unfortunately this cannot be done because the contract is concluded for a specific period, i.e. 12 months.

If the price of electricity decreases long-term on wholesale market, this decrease is reflected in the delivery price for a specific client with the minimum delay, when his “month” by which the electricity price is controlled arrives, the prices for the next 12 months are issued. This also applies if the prices on the wholesale market increase.

Why at the same time are the prices of new ElektřinaTrend products and the original products, i.e. ElektřinaKlasik different?

The difference is mainly in the way of purchasing electricity on the wholesale electricity market. With the original products the valid price corresponded to the situation and the development of prices on the wholesale electricity market during the entire year preceding the validity of the prices; with ElektřinaTrend products the price reflects the actual price on the wholesale electricity market for the next 12 months, which is significant true reflection of the real prices of electricity.
