This year for the third time in a row, E.ON will be financially supporting the training of climbing groups in the Southern Bohemia Integrated Rescue System. During the first training in 2006, specialists in rescue at heights from the Southern Bohemia County Medical Rescue Service, Czech Republic Police and Southern Bohemia County Fire Brigade tested out evacuation of a skydiver caught in high voltage lines nearby the distribution plant in Dasné near České Budějovice. Last year, the same specialists tested out evacuation of handicapped children from the Arpida Children's Home in České Budějovice. "We have the opportunity to try out model situations which it would be hard for us to come across just normally," the director of the Southern Bohemia County Medical Rescue Service, MUDr. Marek Slabý, praises the co-operation.
