Within the 2^nd lap of Závod míru, on Sunday, 14^th of May, 2006, the bikers headed from Austrian Schrems to České Budějovice.

As associated with the bicyclists´ arrival into České Budějovice, the cultural program for a public took place. During this program also songstress Zuzana Norisová and actor Zbyněk Fric (Zdivočelá země, Rodinná pouta) appeared.

The lap winner was resolved within a collective spurt – the German biker Danilo Hondo from Lamonta became it, followed by his countrymen Steffen Radochla (Wiesenhof Akud) and another Lamonta biker, Andre Schulze. As for the Czech bikers, Milan Kadlec from Dukla Praha was the best, finishing as number twelve.
