How to use the calculator

1. Choose your existing product for electricity supply from the list.
2. Enter your yearly electricity consumption in MWh in a high tariff of a product with a single tariff, and electricity consumption in MWh in high and low tariffs of a product with a double tariff.
3. Enter current value of a main circuit breaker and number of phases.
4. To state a total yearly payment for the electrical energy (excluding VAT) for your actual product, press the button "Calculate".
5. From 1 January 2008, electricity tax has been part of the overall payment for electricity according to Act No. 261/2007 Coll., as amended. The tax rate comes to CZK 28.30 per MWh. The total level of tax is also specified separately under the information about total annual payment for electricity. Electricity tax goes into the tax basis for calculation of VAT.
6. For the view of other electrical energy products, press the button "Make the calculation for the other products". You will find a list of all other products here in combination with the corresponding distribution rates, including annual electricity payments.
7. For a new entry, press the appropriate button.
