Pražská plynárenská, a. s. (PP), headquartered in Prague, was founded in 1994 by the National Property Fund on the basis of a "Resolution on Privatization" issued by Ministry for Administration of National Property and its Privatization.

The main subject of activity is the sale and distribution of natural gas. Services rendered are fully adjusted to meet the requirements and needs of customers, and include complex consultation, including realization of difficult projects.

E.ON Czech Holding AG owns 49.35 % of PP shares. The majority shareholder is Pražská plynárenská Holding a.s.
