We support the Association of Interest Organizations (Radambuk) which enables children to pursue various possibilities of spending their leisure time. Using this platform, we educate children how to handle and save energy and we acquaint children and the general public with safety in using energy.
A great deal of projects for children and youth fall under Radambuk. In particular, E.ON collaborates in the promotion of two mainstay events, Bambiriáda and Find Your Own Hobby (Najdi si svého koníčka). In both cases this involves presentation activities by the Association of Children and Youth. In particular Bambiriáda in Česke Budějovice has a large following of children and parents each year. This year’s event was attended by more than ten thousand people. During three days children are offered various leisure time activities: Rope climbing, lasso throwing, modelling, firefighter races, canoeing and rafting, airsoft.
Our most successful volleyball players presented themselves to Bambiriáda visitors last year, i.e. the team BK Gambrinus Sika Brno, and this year, for a change, it is the ex-footballer Karel Poborský. Similar to 26 other towns of the Czech Republic, those organizations present themselves during Bambiriáda, which work with children and youth in their leisure time. "Bambiriáda should be something a bit different, and a little more than a typical children's day," commented Martin Bělohlávek on this event, who was entrusted by ČRDM's board of directors (Czech Council of Children and Youth) to be in charge of last year’s Bambiriáda.
