During the weekend June 27 - 28^th, 2009, we, as we did last year, organized entertaining afternoons for the children of our employees and for children from Arpida, a center for children with a physical and combined handicaps, which we have been supporting for an extended time. We have, again, used the beautiful environment of the Pořešín Castle ruins, and in cooperation with the Hrady na Malši Association, we prepared an afternoon in a Japanese style.

The children could try out horseback riding and watch a demonstration of samurai fights. We also peeked into the Aikido secrets: the path of harmony and energy. We tried to create origami, wrote calligraphy, drummed on Japanese drums, watched falconry, and completed other tasks.

At the end of each day, the competitors who completed all the required tasks were festively promoted to samurais by the present Shogun.
