Within the market environment in Czech Republic, E.ON Czech, as a company adhering to the corporate responsibility principles, complies with transparent entrepreneurial activity and positive relationships with the investors, customers and suppliers as well as with other business partners.

We focus on meeting our customers' wishes and there are many ways, how we realize this idea.

One of the key requirements for responsible behaviour is the active communication with customers. The aim is to inform the customers about the course of events in our company, about the services and products provided as well as about the relevant legislative changes and other new information concerning the field of the energy industry. We are aware of different types of customers and their different requirements. We organize various meetings and seminars for big customers and mayors, we publish the "e-forum" electronic newsletter for big customers; and we run the Customer Internet Portal for our customers from business and households.

The major and medium-size customers are attended personally by our business or area managers. Special attention is paid to municipalities, the requirements of which are dealt with by a team of special area managers. Special, the so-called VIP-telephone numbers were established for the representatives of the towns and municipalities, the consequence of which is a preferential access to the customer hot line. In addition, the E.ON Energie24 Program provides for early and automated notification of the planned interruption of electricity supply.

Reliability of the electricity supply is regarded by our customers as the principal parameter of our services quality. It is not possible to secure the transmission system sufficiently against natural disasters such as Hurricane Kyrill in 2007. At that time, the teams for the repair of the transmission system cooperated in removing the consequences of the hurricane with the fire brigades and the rescue services teams and thus contributed significantly to the reinforcement of the positive reputation of the E.ON Czech among the public.

Finally yet importantly, the E.ON Czech assists its customers in the area of economic use of energy. We cannot prevent the specific increase of energy prices but we can help our customers to stabilize their costs. Our services include free professional energy efficiency consultations.

The corporate responsibility of the E.ON Czech in the area of the market can be summarized as a continuous improvement in the relationships with our business partners and in particular as the improvement in our customers' satisfaction.
