E.ON ČR Junior Cup 2006, the biggest cup for teams of young footballers up to 10 years old in Southern Bohemia, organised by the E.ON energy company.

Project aim

The main aim of the E.ON ČR Junior Cup project is to support the growth of young footballing talent, and not only in Southern Bohemia.

Project organisation

The E.ON ČR Junior Cup 2006 takes place in the form of 7 qualifying tournaments, played in all the district towns in Southern Bohemia, and then one final tournament played in České Budějovice.

The winning team will qualify for the international E.ON Junior Cup tournament in Gilching, Germany. Taking part in the international competition, which will surely be a great experience for the young footballers, is paid for by the tournament organiser - the E.ON energy company.

The E.ON energy company has also prepared valuable prizes for the winners and for all the players taking part. Each young footballer taking part will get a football. The top three teams will get full kits. Special prizes have been prepared for the best player, goalscorer and goalkeeper.

Football Sundays will also be supplemented at stadiums in individual district towns with a competitive sporting program for tournament participants, at Písek, Tábor and Jindřichův Hradec, with a program of entertainment for the public.

Spectacular show

At the time of the E.ON ČR Junior Cup 2006 final on June 4th, 2006, a spectacular entertainment event for the public will take place at České Budějovice at E.ON stadium at Střelecký ostrov and also a day prior in the town. It will be organised by the E.ON energy company together with SK Dynamo České Budějovice football club and Radio Faktor. This event will be in the spirit of celebrating the anniversary of E.ON operating in the Czech Republic, the hundredth anniversary of the SK Dynamo České Budějovice club and the fifteenth anniversary of Radio Faktor.
